Pathways: Early Childhood Development, Parent Support, and Adult Wellbeing Courses.
2 Year Old Programme
Our 2 Year Programme is designed to support children’s learning, social and emotional skills and support their development through stimulating age-appropriate play. We run three sessions per week that last two hours per day. Our aim throughout these sessions is to promote play with their peers, build children’s confidence and self-esteem and encourage them to interact and problem solve together. We incorporate a range of sensory play into our sessions from sand, water, messy play and as much time outdoors as possible. We strive to make our sessions a safe, comfortable and fun space where children thrive and get the most from their time they spend with us.
We hold relationships with parents to a high standard often inviting them…’ to: ‘We believe relationships with parents are central to everything we do. We often invite parents to Stay and Plays with their children and help them avail of other services and courses we have available throughout LORAG.
Nursery Programme: 3/4 Year Programme
Our Nursery Programme is designed for children that are coming into sessions after a busy day at school. We run three sessions per week that last two hours per day. Our aim throughout these sessions is to help children build more confidence and self-esteem and interact with their peers through imaginative, fun, creative, sensory play as well as encouraging independence and helping them thrive. These sessions offer children a comfortable, safe environment where learning through play is key and a space to burn off some energy after their school day.
Parent and Toddler
This group meets every Friday throughout term time from 10am-11:30am to provide another stimulating play environment for local children. Its objective is to provide a space where parents/carers and children can play together, promoting positive parent/child interaction. Not only do the children benefit greatly from this special time with mum/dad/carer but the adults also get the opportunity to meet other parents/carers and build friendships and support networks that can continue outside of the session.
Courses
